Inspiration at Earth House
The Lit Endz played a great show the other night at the Earth House, which is a coffee shop, restaurant, and church in downtown Indy. I thought the place had a great vibe, so I went there again yesterday to get some work done.
The place is simply fantastic. The coffee is wonderful, they play great music, and there are massive couches. It was while I was lounging and working that the inspiration came to start this blog.
I got to thinking about all the things I post online and how one-dimensional it must seem to people who don’t know me that I seem to only post web design/marketing stuff on my facebook and twitter streams.
In a lot of ways, starting a personal blog is a big step. If you’re a business blogger, then you’re typically doing it because you want to grow your business, but if you’re doing it just for you, then that’s taking it to a whole new level.
I think it’s important for me to have a piece of the web where I can simply express the things I want to express to the world for no other reason than it feels good to express it.
