An Acoustic Evening with Colin Clark and Jess K

I’m really super-excited about a show that I’m playing tonight (Feb 19) with Jess Kendall. The show will consist of 2 sets.
Jess will begin at 8 pm playing songs off her new album, Fallen Leaves.
I’ll be going on at approximately 9 pm, and I’ve got some really special songs prepared. I went through my archives and dug out some really cool obscure tracks, most of which have never been performed live. I’ll also be performing a few cover tunes that go with the theme of the original tunes.
It’s been an extremely long time since I’ve done a solo set. Typically I’m more comfortable in a band setting. Whether it’s jamming out on the banjo with the Pissed Off Catfish or schlappin the bass with the Lit Endz, it’s always comforting to have your friends backing you up.
Acoustic shows like this are, however, the best way to really appreciate the nuances and lyrics of a song. As a songwriter, it’s unbelievably rewarding to know that people are actually taking in the lyrics and spirit of the songs, and I can’t wait to share these songs with you!
The show will be held at Calvin Fletcher’s Coffee Company, witch is located at 615 Virginia Avenue in Indianapolis (Fountain Square).
